Riot Junosaur logging out ...

8 years ago, I walked through the doors of Riot HQ with sparks in my eyes because I felt I had made it to the best gaming company in the world. Today, I am leaving Annie and Tibbers behind with tears in my eyes, feeling thankful for all the opportunities I had at Riot and how they helped me be ready to take on bigger challenges in the next chapter of my career.

The last 8 years were quite the journey as I grew alongside Riot. One thing that remained constant as the company changed is its many talented and passionate people. It was easy to form friendships with many rioters because there are so many like-minded people who share a deep empathy for our players. I have personally experienced many, and heard even more, inspirational war stories about rioters rallying together and overcoming impossible odds through sheer heroism and dedication to protect and deliver incredible player experiences. I am grateful for and will treasure those friendships and memories forever. I mean… I did also score a husbando so really, thanks Rito! 😉

My departure from Riot is not without regrets and disappointments, but I will always love and miss Riot. It is the place where I truly became a game developer, and learned that the only way to make video games is to make them with your heart, and I will carry the player-focused culture with me wherever I go. I hope to be able to talk about my exciting new job and the game I will be working on soon and I can’t wait to actively engage with the community once more. I will be keeping this twitter active so talk to you soon! ❤️
