Important message regarding the future of Merchants of Novigrad:
Friends, it is time to say farewell. Many of you probably saw this coming, others may be somewhat surprised, but episode #34 was the last one we ever streamed as a Gwent podcast.
We tried to stall and wait for better times, we tried to change the formula and we even tried to breathe new life into the show by adding another host. Unfortunately, these attempts failed to achieve its goal.
It is our belief that the Gwent we once felt passionate about and wanted to create content for is no longer there. We're not saying that this new direction of Gwent is better or worse. It's simply different to what we wanted the game to be.
In order to keep it short... we'd like to thank all our previous hosts for their engagement, our guests for their insights and obviously you, the community, for your continuous support.
We wish the devs and players all the best and hope that one day Gwent will be as successful and popular as it deserves to be.
Farewell and who knows, maybe we'll see you in a different Twitch category?
