Hello everyone, just wanted to share with you what's going on in my life right now. As you all know, on 24th of February, Russia attacked Ukraine. Despite all the warnings, almost nobody in Ukraine believed that this could actually happen, until it happened. Waking up to huge explosions in your city is truly terrible. One day before the war, my mom went to visit my grandma in a village north of Kyiv. Their village quickly became occupied by russian troops. At first, everything seemed fine, I was able to talk to them every day and they were saying they were alright, although they heard constant shots and explosions not that far from them. Then, at some point, the electricity and mobile connection in the village went down, and I haven't been able to talk to them for 5 days already. Obviously all food supplies were also cut, so there's also not much food left. I know that they moved in with my uncle and aunt, who also live in the same village. Russian troops are not letting anyone in or out of the village, of course you can get lucky and escape by car, but there's a high probability you would be shot to death. They are also looting the houses for food cause they have nothing left to eat. There were even few cases of murdering civilians in this exact village. And there are hundreds of villages like that. Not even talking about cities like Mariupol, Kharkiv, Sumy and many others that are being razed to the ground. They said "We are only bombing military infrastructure" but there are already thousands of civilians dead and lots of people lost their homes. I don't know when I will be able to see my family again or, if it's going to happen at all. Fuck war. Fuck putin, fuck russians who support this shit.
I've been playing some Hearthstone to distract myself from what's going on, already qualified for MT #3 with 74% winrate in qualfiers and will play MT #2 this weekend, although I can't really prep well under these circumstances, will see how it goes. I had to share this cause I can't keep it all to myself. Wishing everyone peace <3
