Moving On
Effective immediately, Tempest/Yenicherry has decided to go back to a 5 man turkish roster. So I am no longer on that team.
First of all, I want to start by saying that I've had 0 motivation to play this game since joining this team, I didn't know why at first but it now feels like it all makes sense. It's funny that I was actually planning on leaving the team but they beat me to it. Here are the reasons I wanted to leave in the first place:
Gurtzz got cut and I was not involved in ANY WAY in the decision making
Following that, TR0JN joined and I was the only non Turkish guy on the team. To no one's surprise like 50%+ of our TS turned to Turkish. I remember during the first RMR we played ( not the one we dodged the one before that) we had a match where at least like 80% of the comms were in Turkish and it just felt to me like I was back in EU solo queuing on Faceit or something.
My time on this team has made it clear to me that I am an AWPER. I can rifle just fine as i showed during the last 2 seasons but I am 50 times more impactful as an AWPER, and an impactful one is something we needed. I actually tried out for main awp after s39. I played 2 scrims against decent teams with 0 prep what so ever. It was more like "ok coco go play window". I still performed pretty well and some of my teammates vouched for me but 2 of them didn't so we didn't make that change and I was fine with it. However, it is clear that we needed a change and if it wasn't me awping it was at least me NOT playing shit spots on so many maps and that change also didn't happen. It was at this point that It was clear to me that this is not a team that wanted to win. And the Turkish comms just made it feel like I was an outsider.
Anyways, I know it sounds like I don't but I really respect the guys for giving me a chance and I wish them all the best.
With that being said, I will be LFT as main AWP. (another LFT post will come soon)
Thanks to everyone for everything especially Gkayy, RoundCube and Gurtzz who ironically were the ones who helped me the most during their time on the team.
I'm super happy that this has happened and I feel super motivated again. I want to play for a team who wants to win.
