forZe RMR Qualifier

We want to draw the attention of the esports community to the situation that happened with forZe CS:GO roster during the first open RMR qualifier.

On February 22 our team has lost the match against Unplugg3D. We have repeatedly contacted PGL and FACEIT with a request to check our opponents for cheats. As a result, on the next day three players were banned on FACEIT platform. PGL representatives apologized to us, but didn't gave us the opportunity to continue participating in the tournament. Although, if you follow the rules then the result of the match must be annulled and forZe must continue in the next stage.

Before the start of the open qualifiers we paid attention to the unreasoned system. Qualifiers for the World Championship CANNOT be held without closed qualifiers, to which should be allowed only verified players with verified personal data.

We are disappointed with PGL's handling of this situation. Apologies in a message will not return our players this attempt to qualify for the Major. Players who practice every day and follow the rules of fair play and respect other teams and players.

We are asking the CS:GO community and Valve to pay attention to this situation. forZe hopes that our example will help other teams avoid similar situations and play in equal and fair conditions at tournaments of this level.

Dmitry Veko, forZe sports director:

"Immediately after the game with Unplugg3D, we wrote a protest to the organizers of the tournament with a request to check some of the opponent's players for cheats. We also asked the admins not to start the next match, so that later there would be no problems with the grid. We promptly received a response that the Unplugg3D players are clean and they had never similar violations.

We have conducted an internal investigation and sent more evidence. PGL told us again that player accounts are clean.

In the next game Unplugg3D received a TL for leaving the server. And this afternoon three players were banned for cheating on FACEIT platform, which means the confirmation of our protest and and so by the rules we should play against Dignitas.

Which also confirms paragraph No. 22 of the Rules:

Anti-cheat

All FACEIT Servers have their own in-house Anti-Cheat enabled on all of their servers that you play on. If you are detected by the anti-cheat you will be kicked from the game and your account will be suspended. Games will be canceled if a player in the game has been suspended for cheating.

But in response from PGL we received only an apology. This is extremely unprofessional and if you do not pay attention to this, then such an injustice can happen not only to forZe, but also to any other team."
