Content Creators
(Yes I cleared my twitter posts, about time I clean up & take things more serious for my platform.)
Content creation requires time, inspiration, and a certain amount of sweat. There's no shortcuts.
To say someone isn't a content creator without art is an abomination to content creators.
Streamers can provide in ANY media. They do not require any sort of persona.
They don't require any sort of Icon, heck they don't even need to talk!, they can just be themselves. They provide content in a contex for others to enjoy!
The misconception that the recent (Twit Spam) has been shown me that many artists take streamers for granted. Many during that said the same thing and it discusts me. (You wouldn't be where you are without us) the same could be said back (Without us, you wouldn't have as much work, let alone any since some of you feelance for only streamers) it goes both ways. We help (Eachother) by supporting both contents & to be apart of there content ourselves. & lets be real, art isn't the reason our personalities shine on our platform. It's an additional aspect to our channels to help bring joy to our viewers.
Lets be clear, Artists create the same as streamers create, its only a different format. (and some of us like myself would rather help promote other artists instead of my own art)
(Yes, I support artists & yes I used to do commissions myself)
When you commission an artist it (is) normal practice to pay a service fee. It is (Not) Normal to pay commercial fee's. (If you wanna use it in a commercial way, Then you would ask! & then discuss) not automatically upcharge and/or include a commercial fee automatically.
Many of the community take much for granted, the original conversation was questioning about a 200-300% markup on a commission. (if it was normal for that) (Absolutely not normal for me between the 100+ commissions I've had and/or done)
In our community we live in, that is deffinatly not normal unless you are a massive brand and/or Corporate company.
For so many to attack upon someones thoughts and opinion is just discusting, (I for one do not expect to pay commercial fee's if I don't plan on using it as such) Why would I pay a extra Fee for something I am not gonna use or want for that? Thats my decision on my own Brand & platform to decide what I want to be used as commercial. (Deffinatly not forced upon)
Remember, (KeyWords) "Content Creator"
Artists & Streamers are absolutly no different and do not deserve favoritusm on either side. We all work hard on what we do.
It's not all about ($$$$) some creators (Artists and/or Streamers) appreciate just doing stuff for the community without dealing with additional things like a (Commercial License) This is highly respectable & they deserve recognition for it.
A Content creator puts together an idea then creates it. A Streamer has a platform & Brand they wanna promote so they think of an idea for themselves to make.
Some streamers choose to let someone shine (The Artist) by trusting them to take that project on.
Honestly speaking, its not about you and/or I
It's about the diversity by recognising, respecting and valuing differences based on what we are creating.
Artists bring things to color (In there own style)
Streamers give that color a meaning & a mind behind it.
Like I have said before. (for myself: I Dislike Commercial Fees) There is absolutly nothing wrong with disliking something. It's still within a Diversity aspect. (You don't see me going around telling people there thoughts are wrong and/or beliefs are wrong) I am in no possition to judge someones opinion.
I may however go and support them.
Now lets be real, artists do a lot. (At least the ones I know who I commission)
But so do Streamers. (We spend ALOT of time trying to improve someones day, it be 1 or 5million people, it doesn't matter how many)
This is why I do my best to treat both the best I can. (Asking them how I can use there artwork, providing credit without asking "Thats a given respect to them" & Promoting them to others because they deserve the support.)
Bottom line, there is no reason why so many people are hyping an (Opinion) into an issue.
If you disagree then you disagree. I won't argue with that, but don't come attacking someone with jibberish when you don't even know what the original conversation was even about.
I am surprised so many responded to what I said just to start a (War) for some reason, Yet none of you gave insite to the original poster on the thoughts of what the conversation was about. (If you didn't know then why not just ask what it was in response to) Easy way to learn what was going on.
Just shows how many actually viewed what was originally being discussed & immediatly hopped on a train to be (Apart of something) Pretty disgraceful if you ask me. (there was better ways to respond if you disagree'd on my point of view (On something you probably didn't know it was about besides *Commercial Fees*) (Was about a 200-300% upcharge for a commercial fee)
P.S. Any stupid comments and/or responses I won't hesitate to just instantly Block, no reason to interact or feed someones ego. I don't need to prove myself to anyone anyways, my community knows what all I have done for them.
