Stepping down from XSET
Well, the inevitable has happened. I have decided to step down from my player position on XSET. I could name a laundry list of reasons why it came to this, but essentially, I just haven’t been enjoying playing the game at all, and in turn, practicing 8-10 hours a day at a game you dislike is not good for the soul. I knew going into this stage this was probably going to be my last split no matter what, as I want to go back to school for the upcoming fall semester and just live a normal life. If anyone thinks I’m upset or bitter, you couldn’t be more wrong. I am thankful to have been given this opportunity and am just as excited to head home and resume my normal life once again. As for my future in Siege, I really have no idea what I plan on doing. I will quit competitive for the time being and just chill and lounge around, maybe even throw up some banger FPL streams! I know for a fact though as a player, I have what it takes to be one of the best, it’s just my drive for the time being is shot. I want to quickly shoutout the team because although we had our ups and downs, at the end of the day it’s just a game and it was a crazy experience to live with your friends. Not many people can say they lived in a million dollar Las Vegas house with their team and get paid to game all day. I want to thank XSET for giving us the shot to compete, and me specifically when many others wouldn’t. XSET will run eSports one day, and I’m excited to see where they will be in the future. Lastly, I want to thank the supporters. Y’all raised me up when I was at my lowest. Y’all believed in me when no one else did. Thank you for your unwavering faith and support. Although I didn’t single handily win invite like I said I would, I hope I made y’all proud♥️
