DPC SA "RAGE QUIT" Thunder Predator thoughts

Hello,

Well... we were thinking about what happened in the last official series between Beastcoast and NoPing. And we actually have something to say:

As everyone knew, this series was important to us, we had the chance to fight for our TI direct invitation if that result went different. NoPing had nothing to lose from it, ‘cause they still got the chance to fight for their 1st place at the DPC Regional League (as they are doing so well right now). NoPing’s player “hFn” called gg at minute 22 with two Tier 2 and one tier 1 towers up, after losing a teamfight. That gg called came out from nowhere followed by a pause.

Game 2 NoPing easily won game two.

Now at the 3rd and final game of that series, NoPing Hard Support Pandaboo called gg at minute 25 with two tier 2 towers and one tier 3 towers, after losing a teamfight. The most relevant thing here is NoPing Darkmago calling it a “miss click”. Not even Beastcoast understood what was happening and the series were over.

And there is something about this schedule that was not right. This series was programmed for the last day, knowing that in any case there was going to be a tiebreaker, causing this kind of irregular and strange feeling in this outcome.

Last but not least

Sad day for South America. There were more than 100k viewers on the official stream (Live Esports & OGA DOTA PIT). Not to mention the amount of viewers on TV. Yes, it was being transmitted on television, most of them first Dota watchers.

“Harmful Conduct / Misbehavior” are included as a OGA DPC RL rule when they say “Any violation of the rules or any conduct that harms the integrity of Valve's or OGA businesses will not be tolerated and could result in disciplinary actions. Any violation or misbehavior towards other teams, players, managers, or tournament staff, such as threats, racism, etc, will also not be tolerated and could result in disciplinary actions as well as disqualification of the individual involved…”

We are looking for a behavior investigation by Valve toward involucred player’s actions. Non professional actions by NoPing players must be investigated and sanctioned, moreover if it wasn’t the first time they have conducted troubles. Something like this can not be allowed anymore, thinking of the future of SA esports organizations.

Hola,

“Harmful Conduct / Misbehavior” está incluído dentro de las reglas de la Liga Regional de OGA DPC: “Any violation of the rules or any conduct that harms the integrity of Valve's or OGA businesses will not be tolerated and could result in disciplinary actions. Any violation or misbehavior towards other teams, players, managers, or tournament staff, such as threats, racism, etc, will also not be tolerated and could result in disciplinary actions as well as disqualification of the individual involved…”
