For global fans
Good afternoon everyone, Professional gamer Song “Smeb” Kyung-Ho has decided to step away from my profession as a professional gamer since 2013 and to respectfully deliver my sincere appreciation to all the people that made my journey grateful.
During my 8 years as a professional gamer, there have been highs and lows, but standing at the moment of making a retirement decision, only the highs remain in my memory. The 8-year professional career that I started in my teenage years without knowing a lot about this world was indeed full of happiness. During my time as a professional gamer, I always pursued both small and big goals but my biggest and sincerest goal that made me who I am right now and helped me reach my goals was to make my fans happy. All the cheers I received from the fans was a big motivation and an energizer for me to never give up and to reach further. Thanks to all the fans out there, my professional career is second to none.
Furthermore, these happy memories and experiences will be the firm base and motivation to build a new chapter of my life not as a professional gamer Song “Smeb” Kyung-Ho.
All my friends, colleagues, team staffs, the media, and all eSport people including the Riot Games, I am truly thankful for you all. And last but not the least, all the fans out there that cheered for the professional gamer SMAB, you guys are the best and I am really happy that you all were there for me.
After retirement, I'll be preparing for Chapter 2 of my life, actively continuing my individual streaming. Looking forward to be back with you all at my private streaming. Thank you.
