We found out about PGI after the 2nd week of PCS and we assumed we were not invited as I was told by a player that all the invites had already been given out around a month ago. I immediately messaged PUBG and was told that FURY was supposed to be invited, but we weren't due to "government restrictions". After researching for 5minutes, I found that we could EASILY apply for exemption online and the process only takes a few hours to be approved. We tried to convince PUBG of this but then were told it was too late as the invites had already been given out and we won't even be considered for a reserve slot if a team can't attend. This was heartbreaking for myself and the team and honestly felt cheated as we were NEVER contacted by PUBG to even TRY get us to attend. I still have a small amount of hope as I believe if acted on quick enough PUBG has enough time to get this sorted as we are the deserving team of the slot given our consistent results from PCS1, PCS2, and PCS3.
Thanks so much to everyone that supported us this year <3. It was a very succesful year for us, but it is bittersweet given the recent news.
