Two months in team
I've never written anything like this before. so I hope you guys understand even if my twitlonger is awkward. And English is my second language, so I would appreciate it if you guys could understand even if my grammar or words are wrong.
First of all, I’m sorry to tell you guys about me late. I needed a little break myself.
I'm very sorry for showing you guys a disappointing game. I wanted to show you guys good performance but I couldn't, so I feel sorry for all the team liquid fans. Also, I feel really sorry that I left a big stain on the team members' career because of me. After week 6, Team Liquid told me that they wanted to try new support before the academy roster lock down. So after discussing with my parent, I decided to go back to korea and talk about my future.
I'd like to thank the coaching staff. Especially to Yaltz and Dodo. Yaltz is really a great lifesaver to me. Before I joined the team, I was planning to join the Korean army(mandatory) after finishing the spring semester college in may. No matter how hard I tried in the league of legends, I was having a hard time because I didn't get an any offer or tryout. I sent my cover letter to all the 10 teams with my last heart, but only Team Liquid responded to me back. Yaltz gave me a tryout opportunity and picked me out. after I got picked up from Team liquid. I didn't improve my skills as others and I expected. I'm really sorry to Yaltz because people were angry or swear to him because he picked me over other better players. I am sad that I cannot be with him anymore. He was a great coach in the game and a good guy outside of the game. I will live my life thanks to him forever.
Dodo helped me a lot in different ways because I am not good at English and it was my first time being a professional player. He helped me settle down in the team and always helped me kindly when I asked him something.
I want to talk about team members. Personally, I really appreciate Thomas(bobjenkins). He talked to me for the first time when everything was awkward around me and treated me like an old friend. I had a fun time duoing with him. I wish he is always happy and could see him in LCS
I always felt sorry for Rikara. He deserves to play with better support. He was always hard working with me and gave me a lot of feedback. His ADC skill was really good(like deft), so the laning phase was easy thanks to Rikara. And because he is Korean, I felt friendly to him and wanted to get closer to him, but it was such a shame that I had no chance to meet him outside of the game because of covid19.
Greg and Yusui.These two were amazing players(100% lcs player) and I'm really sorry that they were having a hard time because of me.
Lastly, I thank my parents. My parents have always opposed me becoming a professional gamer all my life, but I was really thankful that they respected and allowed me for having a great opportunity chance. Because of that, I had the happiest time in my life. .And thank you for always supporting me and worrying about me more than anyone else. My dad, who hated and didn't know about the game, but I was really surprised when he contacted me after watching my game.
I don’t know if I’ll play any more league of legends in the future, But I really still want to continue my career as a professional gamer. I will go back to Korea first and take a rest with my parents and think about what I will do in the future. I had an experience that no one would ever experience. I would like to thank Yaltz and Dodo again for that. When I was in elementary school, I always wanted to be a professional gamer while watching Starcraft. I thank God for giving me a short happy time through many trials. I was happy every moment in Team Liquid. Especially, thank God for letting me meet good coaching staff, good organization, and team members in Team Liquid.
Once again, I’m really sorry to disappoint you guys and poor performance.
Lastly, I would like to thank Steve and the other Team Liquid coaching staff. And good luck to pocket rhino (+ 100t Yeon)
