OWL retirement.
As you all know I've retired from Overwatch League. I can imagine this may be a shock to many seeing as though I have been starting almost every game this season and preforming really well (in my opinion) however, for the past month I feel like I lost a lot of the drive in this game that got me to where I am. My heart is just not in it anymore and I do still love Overwatch and it will always have a place in my heart but, it's time to move on for now.
I have no doubt in my mind that The Reign will be fine without me and if anything I hope that the younger players on my team are able to take the good qualities I had and use them to their advantage to become the gods I know they can be. It's time for them to step up and dominate =D!
There are so many great memories we've all shared together and it's really all thanks to you guys. Without every single one of you we would not have been able to do good things for the community such as the babybay challenge which brought to light the problem of mental health in not just the world but esports. I personally would not have been able to mature and grow as much as I did had I not been in Overwatch league and moved to LA / ATL. For that I will be forever grateful and being able to attend the homestands / play in front of a crowd for almost every match of my career in this game was an absolute pleasure man forreal.
I appreciate everyone who has been with me along the ride in terms of my teammates / teams from the early days of Kungarna, to the SF Shock, and finally ATL Reign. Also, everyone I've met with the casting / production in Overwatch League. You guys all know who you are and I wish nothing but the best for everyone. I'm sure I'll keep in contact and see a lot of you again at some point or another.
It's been a hell of a ride and it's not going to stop now just because I'm out of Overwatch League. We still are going to go hard and get use to seeing my face a lot more on twitch and possibly youtube. WE OUT HERE. ESKETITTTTTTT.
