Moving on
Hi everyone,
I want to start this off by saying thank you all so much for the kind messages of support I’ve been seeing. I’m not nearly eloquent enough to express how grateful I am for this community and the friends I have made along the way, but the amount of love I’ve received has been overwhelming. Hopefully there will be more ways for me to reciprocate it to you all in the future.
I know this season isn’t what I or the fans wanted, but I’ve always believed that integrity is working hard through whatever circumstances you encounter. Everything I've done I know was done to the best of my abilities. In a difficult environment, sometimes it can be really easy to lose yourself. If there is one thing I can say for certain, it’s that I remain proud of my ability to stay true to my morals and to speak up about what I believe in.
After working almost every day for the past three years, I’m taking this as a blessing in disguise. I can now get some well deserved rest (while rewatching ATLA) and focus on being the best version of myself- something I haven’t felt like in a while. There’s always a lot to learn from Iroh. :’)
As for my next steps:
My passion for esports and my drive to continue improving this industry have not wavered. There’s a lot of growth needed in this industry still, but also an incredible amount of potential to create a structured and thriving environment. I'm especially thankful for those who have already reached out with opportunities. I’ll be exploring all other possibilities and am excited to find the right place that resonates with my beliefs.
And of course: Overwatch is where I started, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I will be considering opportunities to stay within the Overwatch League as well. <3
Some words of advice to myself and to anyone who might need to hear it right now:
Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay yet, it’s not the end.
