Leaving Rogue
As you have seen, I have decided to part ways with Rogue and their Rainbow Six roster.
It has been hell of ride for me, investing almost three years of my life into this project through several roster iterations. The decision to leave was very difficult to make for me, as I made a lot of sacrifices through time. Despite not being able to perform as well as I wanted to during LANs, I am still very proud of what we accomplished, qualifying twice to the Invitational and to several Pro League Finals as well as all the minors we participated in.
My decision came from discussions we had lately with the team that made me realize that I wasn’t the right fit for them anymore. Our results were similar to a rollercoaster and I never quite managed to make this group of incredible individuals play to their potential outside of the online seasons/qualifiers. I firmly believe that a fresh start is what I need to keep growing as an individual and as a coach.
To all the players that I worked with so far, I want to give you my biggest thanks. From Liven who gave me a shot, to risze and Hicks who became much more to me than colleagues and to Robz who helped me and the team through very difficult times last summer, I genuinly feel proud that I could work with you and that I can call you friends. To AceeZ, korey and ripz, it has been hell of a ride and I hope you guys will keep growing as players, I am looking forward to how much more you can improve with someone different helping you.
I’ve worked under a fair number of organizations during my career, and Rogue was by far the one I was the proudest to represent. Despite only being there for a few months, I want to thank Frank and Philippe, who were very understanding when I explained them my decision.
To all the fans that stuck with me and the teams I coached, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. It might sound cheesy, but all the messages, the trust and the support truly means the world to me, you were a big part of how much I personally wanted to accomplish.
Finally, I am not done with Siege, far from it. I am not exactly sure what is ahead of me yet, but I will be back, one way or another.
