Stepping away from Fortnite

As of today I'm moving on from Fortnite, for a while now I've been deciding what I want to do with my future and I didn't see Fortnite being a part of it, it just doesn't make me happy anymore and I'm not going to stick around to something that causes unhappiness. Unfortunately, I haven't enjoyed playing it in a long time and it affected me by not wanting to stream Fortnite. I wanted to stream other games, but I felt boxed in until I made a decision on what I was going to do. That sucked.

It also doesn't help how EPIC has treated the game competitively with their decisions being fundamentally flawed when running this esport as well as their lackluster communication with the pro and fan communities. With that being said I will always cherish the memories I have of this community and be grateful for my roots in this game. EPIC and Fortnite gave me my opportunity to have my dream job as a competitor/streamer. But Fortnite was never my goal, I am a grinder and I was there at the right place and the right time. I'm a very competitive person and I really want to compete in something truly competitive and Fortnite to me clearly wasn't that. I learned a lot with this experience and will value that moving forward, Fortnite is just the beginning for me.

For the future I hope I find what I'm looking for in Valorant, I have high hopes for the game and am very motivated to stream and try and compete. If it doesn't work out, I will move forward as a streamer. I'm excited to be streaming again, I don't feel boxed in by feeling forced to stream Fortnite anymore. Expect streams to return actively with Valorant content very soon, with my first stream being back on the 3rd and then streaming the closed beta actively starting the 7th with a 24hr stream. I will also be posting some spicy YouTube content starting on the 3rd as well.

I also want to thank everyone at Team Liquid for being a great organization and for being there since day one of this journey and still sticking with me during this transition to Valorant.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me in this community in these past 2 years, it does mean a lot. I hope you will continue to support me in my future.
