Bermuda OWC Payments

Hey. I want to clear up all of the confusion revolving around Ajax and the OWC payments. I have seen some wording that is confusing or out of context. So, to help fix all of that I am listing a bunch of bullet points below. I also want to be clear that I am not taking a side with any player. All of the OWC payment decisions are handled by the players who competed in the season. This is also enforced by Blizzard making all of the players agree on the same payment break down.

I have no ill will towards Ajax, and I wish him the best on all of his future endeavors. As for anyone else, if there is anything else I can clear up please let me know. I will provide as many screenshots and contract details as possible.

1. I started Bermuda on 2/2019

2. We do not take money from the regular season OWC payments

3. We front prize money biweekly to our players. This way the players don't have to wait for payment from Blizzard. On top of fronting the money, the contracts also entitle players a % of apparel sales, sponsors payments, and more benefits.

4. We did not create a break down for OWC payments between players. We allow the team to come up with a fair agreement amongst themselves. We support whatever decision the players decide

5. Ajax was sent a contract on 7/1 /19 and never signed it, we allowed him to still play with his team to make sure the team was not split up. We also don't see it as a big deal if a player doesn't want to sign because we do not take any money from the OWC season.

6. Ajax separated from Bermuda 9/18/19

7. 6/7 starting players wanted an equal split of prize pool due to how the season was played. The team had an equal tank split/participation in scrims vods etc, we support any payment decision that the players decide.

8. Nonstarting players (players who played 5 or less maps) were paid for map participation. The screenshot provided by Ajax was a bit out of context and not the full conversation.

9. Ajax wanted to be paid for map participation

10. We addressed this with Blizzard and were told a unanimous decision between the players had to occur for payment. To establish this once again, the players are the ones who decide how the OWC payments will be split between each other.

11. We gave the players the option of either taking the $348 from their pool to give to Ajax or paying them per map

12. The players opted to each give up $58. This way Ajax could be paid for map participation as he requested, and the players would still split the remaining prize money equally.
