STATEMENT REGARDING MIBR AND PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
Today I'm here to officially announce that Marcelo 'coldzera' David is no longer on the starting roster of MIBR and has been placed on the bench effective immediately.
Following our elimination at ESL One Cologne he expressed his desire to be transferred. Many individual and team meetings were held in order to be sure that this was something he really wanted to pursue.
He offered us the option of playing out the remainder of the season as well as the next Major. We have come to the conclusion that the moment we need to live is one of rebuilding for the future and the earlier we start, the better. Not only for our starting lineup but for our team culture. Management, coach and players need to all be aligned in order for us to well represent not only MIBR, but everything and everyone that entails in its legacy.
This is our mission statement moving forward. The collective is above any individuality or necessity that goes against it. That being said, we will be playing the remainder of the season with me as a stand in and should have more news in regards to the Major as soon as we analyse all our options.
I would like to thank Marcelo for all the moments we have lived together. Good and bad moments alike. Our story is beautiful and has helped inspire thousands around the world. I will always look back on those moments and so many more with a smile on my face. I wish you tons of success on your next endeavor and hope you find happiness, wherever that may be.
To all the fans that identify themselves with us and support our work I can never thank you enough. Keep supporting us as it will be more valuable in this renewal process than it has ever been. We have reinvented ourselves many times before and this will be no different.
