Call for Nominations for Society for Philosophy and Technology Board and President-Elect
DEADLINE: 1 December 2015
Dear SPT members,
The SPT board currently has a vacancy for a Vice-President /President-Elect, whose term will begin in January 2016. If you have ever wanted to play a leading role in the work of our society, this would be a perfect opportunity to do so. The person elected will serve as Vice-President until the June 14-17, 2017SPT conference in Darmstadt, Germany, at which time he or she will assume the role of society President until the 2019 SPT conference.
We invite you to nominate yourself or another SPT member for this position. To make a nomination, please send the name and e-mail address of the individual you are nominating to Peter-Paul Verbeek, SPT Past President: p.p.c.c.verbeek@utwente.nl. Please send a copy of your nomination to SPT assistant Giannina Ong: SPTGianninaOng@gmail.com. In the case of nominations other than self-nominations, we will then confirm with the nominee their willingness to be on the ballot.
We anticipate the election ballot will be mailed out along with the dues notices in December. To allow time to prepare the ballot, kindly send in your nomination no later than 1 December 2015.
