Yes. Yes. Yes. Many know I'm a HUGE Fan, Proponent and Advocate of "Taking a Stand", Standing on Duty, and Whenever Possible, and also, a Stander, myself.
Per Security and Law Enforcement, it keeps those employed in those jobs, ready, and also, and for everyone else, too, it gears more towards an active lifestyle, rather a sedentary one, and can help retrain those who had or has a sedentary, or #couchpotato lifestyle, some of the effects of which are an increased risk of cancer, diabetes, dementia, heart disease, and other diseases and disabilities (http://www.nchpad.org/403/2216/Sedentary~Lifestyle~is~Dangerous~to~Your~Health).
There are emotional and mental risks associated with inactivity, as well. So, Standing is good for all, and is most especially awesome for kids, to help keep them from a non active life, ever.
Not to mention all the other benefits; posture, strong and better looking legs, and circulation (I guess I did mention), as much as any can, Take a Stand. Standing is great. #GoodStuff!
It may not be all you need to do, but surely, it is a good, and easy start. Talk about ya low impact! #Sheesh What more ya want? #LetsGO or #LetsStand!

Full disclosure and transparency: I'm writing this while laying down on my bed :) But I also workout, during this period, a minimum of 4 hours, on average, and usually more. 4 hours is me cutting back, and relaxing for a couple of weeks.
