Ok so essentially Lords of the Fallen is having some pretty wacky variable framerates which are making capturing at solid 60 at least on this machine very difficult. I've done about 5 takes so far and it's not to the level of quality I'm looking for (annoyingly the one take which I thought was acceptable ended up having no sound). I'm gonna hold off on that game until the new build is done and then throw the full power of an overclocked 5930k and two 980s at it and watch the damn game beg for mercy. So yeah, sorry about the delays, I want my first 60fps video to be really good instead of having it drop frames. I've considered the idea of having a second PC to do external capture but I'm really picky about background sound and my room is already too noisy without a second source of sound in there, so I'd rather have a machine powerful enough to do everything on its own. I reckon this new one will be. If we have any problems with the build I'll just look at another game for the time being until I'm ready to do Lords of the Fallen. People are telling me Endless Legend is well worth a bash so that's on the cards, I still need to try and cover Styx, NS2 : Combat has just come out too. I would look at Hail to the King: Deathbat but reports are it's a terrible mobile port and barely worth the time. Oh yeah, Dungeon of the Endless is out now too, so plenty of ground to cover. Anyway, sorry about the lack of videos the last couple of days. I'm a stickler for trying to get things done right.
