I thank everyone for their feedback, however, occassionally some of it is a tad unreasonable.
"What a load of crap.
I usually agree totally with what TB has to say on video games and presentation style, but I'm almost absolutely sure he hasn't have enough grasp of the game before making this video.
His comment at around the 4minute mark in particular about the Oz kits, I have to disagree.
Even after completing the game four times (Got 2 character to 50), I just recently found out about this mechanic from the Borderlands Pre-Sequel Steam forums.
Essentially to achieve height, you have to look UP (90 degrees straight up) to gain the maximum height.
While not exactly intuitive, TB have shown exactly how little effort he put into games like these before making a video."
Ok so... just to recap. There's a completely unintuitive mechanic that the game makes no effort to tell you, so much so that you didn't know about it after beating the game FOUR TIMES and you are telling me that my video is a load of crap because I too did not know about it, when it required you to discover it on the Borderlands forums?
Now, if this is your damning evidence of "exactly how little effort I put into games like this before making a video" then I don't know what to tell you. You yourself admitted that even after beating the game 4 times you had no idea it worked that way. That means the game does not tell you. Now I am always very clear about how long I've played a game for. If people want coverage from the perspective of someone who has played longer, they can go out and find out. I have never attempted to hide the length of time I've spent with a game, I think it's really important that people know that.
I expected a bit of pushback on Borderlands tbh because it's a popular series and I'm fairly outspoken in how much I've come to dislike it. But I think of all the criticisms that could have been levelled, this was maybe a little unreasonable :)
