An answer to a piece of criticism regarding my Legend of Korra video.
"A lot of his points aren't actually correct -- or at least are inaccurate." - This is hyperbole, bearing in mind you only mention 2 minor points, advisible not to lead with hyperbole that you then disprove with your following paragraphs :)
"When you load the game up -- it makes a big point of using a controller, that its designed for a controller and not using one will give you an inferior experience. TB playing it with a keyboard and mouse is a decision that would obviously lower the quality of his experience. The platforming sections for example work perfectly well with a controller, the camera issues are nowhere near as pronounced as he states, at least when i was playing it with my controlle it wasn't."
I actually tried it with a controller and frankly it didn't improve all that much. Issues with the platforming were camera related and the camera does not work particularly well with either the mouse and keyboard or the controller. As usual when dealing with PC games, unless I see a strong reason not to, I will do my testing with mouse and keyboard since that is the standard interface and while this is a genre that some people find enjoyable with a controller, I personally have no issue playing it with a mouse and keyboard and didnt find anything outside of the platforming to be tricky. It's worth noting that I am not alone in this opinion, most reviews pointed out similar issues with the platforming and they were reviewing it on console.

"Moreover, it seems odd that he'd criticise some of the parts, like not knowing any other way of changing elements other than the scroll whell despite the fact that right there in the top left corner, next to the elements is a button shown to change to that element, Q and E for keyboard.. i mean its right there, on the screen constantly from the start of the game until the end."
This is actually irrelevant, because Q+E perform exactly the same function as the mousewheel, ie. they cycle through the elements in a linear fashion. Elements are cycled through in a linear fashion, exactly the same as with the mousewheel. What I wanted were separate keys bound to each element to allow precise selection when crafting multi-element combos, but the game does not have this, presumably because its a fairly poor console port. On a slightly less important note, that shizz is really small dawg, easy to miss.
That, apparently was it so, ermm yeah :P Regardless, thanks for your feedback. As usual I will continue to take criticism and provide a response that does not involve calling you a bigot or something.
