Note to companies, it is generally a very bad idea to say "would you be interested in this product for review" then offer a sponsorship deal the next sentence. Merely bringing up your desire to engage in a sponsorship agreement torpedoes the possibility of the product getting reviewed, it creates an untenable conflict of interest and a bias before you even begin. Nobody worth their salt with any integrity as a reviewer would take it. I'm not a reviewer and I still wouldn't take it, when I do sponsored videos they're of games I've either already played and formed my opinion on, or have no intention of creating any critical content about. Those videos are purely focused on gameplay and collab shennigans with other channels for a reason, once you start mixing opinion and sponsorship dollars, that opinion ain't worth a thing and viewers should be keenly aware of that. In the case of this product it's hardware and I don't review hardware anyway, but it's bad practice to mention a sponsorship deal and review in the same email. The only people who are going to respond well to that are those who don't have a reputation for honesty to begin with, are those really the folks you want repping your company?
