So some people complained that I compared Dead Rising 3 too much to Dead Rising 1 and 2. Here's the thing about the way I do my videos, they're driven by my experiences, current and previous. With videos like this, who is creating the video is the most important aspect of what kind of opinion you're going to get out of it and you need to judge relative to that. If I played 200 hours of Dead Rising 1 and a lot of DR2, which I did, then I'm pretty into that franchise and I'm going to have some strong opinions about what I think the latest entry should be. If it doesn't match up to that expectation I'm probably going to be disappointed in it. However, if you don't hold that position, chances are that relative to mine, you're going to find something that you might enjoy. Similarly, if I'm not into a franchise and I look at the latest iteration, I might like it far more than you do (like Thief for instance, I recognize they are classic titles but I personally didn't enjoy them that much, so my opinion on the new Thief is colored as a result). The most important point is that I TELL YOU what position I'm looking at the title from, whether it be die hard enthusiast of the franchise, detached observer or something in-between. With that information, you can make an informed decision. What I won't do is discard my viewpoint because maybe some people would prefer a more neutral approach. That's not my thing, that's not what I do. Everyone is biased, I try to tell you what my bias is beforehand.
