I can put up the PoV of my Guns of Icarus dev match but the fact of the matter is, someone screwed up and recorded their game audio with their mic and ruined the whole master-recording, which you've probably already noticed if you've watched some of the other PoV footage from my team. No I'm not sure how it happened either, people were given specific instructions far in advance but someone still managed to screw it up anyway. This is why I don't do many collabs, because it's my arse on the line for someone elses mistake when this kind of thing happens. I don't want to put up the PoV footage because it sounds awful as a result of this and there's no way to fix it. Compare any piece of collab work to something I just do solo, it's always going to sound a lot worse, particularly when you have multiple people on voip, your'e always going to get folks talking over each other, it's unavoidable. I'm overall just frustrated with the whole thing. I'm frustrated that there are too many viewers that don't appreciate a quality product, I'm frustrated that we've got to a point where many people prefer unedited nonsense with no quality control over an attempt to create a quality production, I'm frustrated that peoples defense of such things seems to boil down to little more than "its my opinion and you should respect it", when they don't do the same for mine which comes from a position of experience on the subject and I'm frustrated that in this day and age, experienced Youtubers somehow still make these mistakes. Bleh, it's a shame too, I like the format and I like the game, it's a good brand deal and it should be producing content that people enjoy watching while also promoting a good game, a win/win for everyone. So yeah, that's frustrating too.
