Explaining everything
First off, yes the rumors are true. I will be playing this weekend with DZ and more than likely the rest of this pro league split if everything goes well. Now before the reddit rioters come for my head, let me explain.
After my retirement announcement I genuinely had no interest in returning to comp. All in the span of the last month, I had a death in the immediate family and several other family complications that are personal and I do not care to get into. I did need to step away and be there for my mom. My mind was on everything except for comp. Not to mention, I lost a lot of love for the game, even prior to LAN. I even told RKN and Keon that no matter what, this would've been my last year competing regardless.
I did not speak to DZ at all before my retirement or any other team. I did not try and snake my way onto another team. My honest plan was to just play casually and stream as a CC from time to time.
It would of taken something extremely special for me to even consider playing comp again. A few days ago I got news from PVP that they would need a fill-in. After talking with my mom, it would be stupid for me to not take this opportunity. I still consider myself one of the best in the world so as mine as well capitalize while I can.
