Retiring
Hey!
Today I’m announcing my retirement from professional cs. These past two and half years have been really tough mentally and I’ve tried my absolute best to balance my life with gaming and school. I thought I could manage the enormous amount of stress and bustling schedule when I hop’d on this path but now it is time to hang up my mouse and fully focus on myself and my well-being. I’ve enjoyed every single minute of playing and I would not change a thing.
I would like to thank every player, organization, management and adherent I got to meet along the way. I’m truly grateful and over the moon that I got the chance to play with such great players and meet amazing people, some of whom I can now call my friends. I will think back and always relish the great moments that I made along my career. My first International LAN win in Iesf 2018 and my first finnish LAN win in Vectorama 2019.
Will I ever come back? I don’t know. I still feel like I have not reached my maximum potential or achieved what I wanted. I still feel like I have a lot to give to this game and this community. If I ever come back, I will be more focused and stronger than ever. I wish the best for the guys from KOVA and hope their new lineup delivers.
Remember to enjoy the great moments in life because they are ephemeral.
