[NOTICE] KOICA x UNOPS: COVID-19 Emergency Support to Indonesia
On 26 July 2022, @KOICA Indonesia held a handover ceremony with the Ministry of Transportation at Hotel Harris in Bekasi, marking the official delivery of all project items as part of the Project of COVID-19 Cooperation Program 2021-2022. Attended by the Director General of Railways and the Director of Safety, the ceremony saw the handover of Safety Inspection Equipment, Occupational Health Equipment, and Health Equipment that will be used in railway facilities around the country.
Since December 2021, KOICA Indonesia and UNOPS have been working to support the Ministry of Transportation strengthen the COVID-19 response capacity of LRT stations in Jakarta and railway facilities across the country, by installing COVID-19 prevention items - including UV sterilizer boxes, Thermal Scanners, Oxygen Concentrators, UV Sterilizers for escalators - that improve hygienic conditions for the public, and enable a safer working environment for Transportation Government Staff.
