New Chapter / TL:DR - stepping down from Strife

TL:DR -- leaving strife, looking for new opportunities in CS.

Moving forward, I will no longer be with Strife. I've decided to bench myself and look at my options. The decision isn't result oriented, rather my personal decision knowing that the team needed a change, and I didn't want to be a part of another rebuild.

Throughout our 11 months together, our core of me, j0lz, and slight played with 6 different players every time changing roles, approach to the game, and getting better every step of the way. It was a pretty turbulent journey and not every season was pretty, but we accomplished some really cool things and went from being bottom ECL players to having a lot of respect from many of our peers, as well as the community. I can truly say I am proud of what we were able to build together and I cherish the time spent with these guys.

David -- we started out absolutely hating each other and it wasn't pretty. We used to butt heads a lot, but we spoke to each other and worked through our issues and grew as teammates, and honestly you were like a brother to me. I will always say you were one of the best teammates i've ever had. I genuinely think you can be an absolute monster in our region & even further, as long as you continue to keep a good head on your shoulders and work hard (watch demos noob). <3

Keller -- through everything you were also like a brother to me. I genuinely felt like I could talk to you about anything and regardless of any issues we ever had, it felt that we both tried our hardest to work past them and get better. You, like J0lz, are a very skilled talent who has the potential to be the next big thing in NA as long as you continue to work on your weaknesses & grind as well. The three of us really transformed our game over the 11 months together and I promise you if you do what YOU know you need to do, you will get where you want to be.

Ethan -- we only played together for a short time and honestly I can say you have such a great head on your shoulders and a shit ton of skill. I really appreciate your willingness to challenge yourself, try new things, and do whatever it took for us to succeed. That quality in a player & teammate is far greater than any amount of raw aim talent someone could offer. Watch some demos (i know it's boring) and you can be a fucking god.

Fejtz -- you came into a solid situation, that became a very very shitty situation, that recovered into a chance to spend 17 days in Europe by luck of the draw. Throughout a turbulent 2 months, you were always so willing to do ANYTHING necessary for the team's success. You also pushed me to be more understanding of everyone's ideas & thought process on the game and to get more out of everyone. You didn't get a chance to show everyone in NA that you are an absolute god, but I know, just as well as everyone on our team knows, how incredibly skilled you are. I really appreciated getting to know you at boot camp as well and you truly are one of the best teammates I've ever had. Keep working Mr. Worldwide, you're 24... Karrigan just won his first major at 32.. stop saying you're old :P

Anton -- in our short time together we didn't always see eye to eye, but you really challenged me to look at the game a different way. You really challenged me to get out of my comfort zone and not be so stubborn about my thought process in this beautiful game we play and for that I will forever be grateful. You also didn't stand for bullshit and pushed me to work on my weaknesses, rather than running from them, and that is something I will cherish forever. I truly believe you could help so many people in this game with your mentality & ability to teach the more important things outside of the game. Never stop being you <3

To Strife -- Matt, Carl, Kevin, Alex, Chris, Anthony, and everyone that made this organization run, THANK YOU. Thank you for giving a group of NA CS misfits a chance to prove that organizational backing and support can really make a difference in NA. Truthfully, you guys embody that of NA CS more than ANYONE else in the scene right now and I wish nothing but the best for the organization's success. I have played since 2014, and for the last 11 months, I actually had the opportunity to pursue my passion without financial worries for the first time and it made ALL the difference.

What's next? I'm in the process of speaking with many talented players who have Advanced & ECL experience alike, in hopes of building a roster that can find long term success, if you are interested in this project feel free to contact me via any of the options below. However, I'm also open to any offers from top ECL teams. With that being said, the teams I'm most interested know who they are and outside of them I think I'd prefer to work on this project.

If any teams are interested in me, you can reach out via DM here on twitter, or add me on discord: stamina#7792. For the next month or so I will be streaming full time while looking for my next opportunity / job.
