Hi everyone,

Sorry for the delay in updating. Been a big day - im sure the suspense has been terrible.

This morning I met with Emily, and two of her admin members (unfortunately their names escape me right now, however they are the two ladies that appear in the photo with Brad from Ripple) we were also joined by the CEO of Novatti (my boss) and my lawyer.

We had a very long chat about the promotion of the fake AUDC token, as well as the conduct of QSI admins, in relation to the management of my report.

Based on my takeaway from the conversation, Emily has said in this situation she entrusted whiplash347 did their own research into the legitimacy of the fake AUDC token, and believed the post sharing the asset listing was an official listing by Novatti.

Upon doing her own research after my posts calling out the fake AUDC token as a scam were sent, it was discovered that in fact the fake AUDC token was not issued by Novatti, and was in fact issued by an unknown party, with the purpose of scamming users. As a result of this, a post was issued by the whiplash347 account, stating that the fake AUDC token was indeed fake and warning users not to purchase it.

I did address a number of concerns with Emily and the others including:

- The trust instilled to whiplash347, and to blindly believe the validity of their content
- The due diligence processes enacted by QSI admins to ensure the authenticity of posts shared to group - both in relation to promoting new tokens or addressing alerts of potential scams.
- the lack of action taken by QSI admins in relation to following up my alert to the fake AUDC token, as well as the decision to ban me from the QSI groups I was a part of.

As I understand per Emily's explanation, Emily was sceptical and hesitant to deal with my claims, partly due to my telegram username (which I was happy to explain the joke surrounding that) as well as her concern that I may have been a member of a "hate group" sent to infiltrate QSI and accuse her, and the group of being a scam (not just the fake AUDC token).

When asked why she did not choose to email the Novatti email provided to validate the claim being made, it is my understanding that Emily felt the information provided initially by whiplash (in relation to the asset listing) was sufficient to authenticate the legitimacy of the fake AUDC token, and that contacting Novatti directly in relation to the claims was not required.

As a result of the discussion today, the original post promoting the availability of the fake AUDC token, has been deleted from the whiplash347 public group and subsequent QSI groups, to prevent any further members falling victim. We appreciate these actions, and ask if anyone else has posted copies of this announcement by whiplash347 (or similar) elsewhere (either on telegram or other social media) we appreciate if you could delete this and issue a warning as demonstrated by whiplash347 and QSI.

Moving forward from this, I believe all of us present today are in mutual agreement, that this incident cements the requirement to do our own research, no matter our years of experience, knowledge, or involvement within the community.

I have offered Emily and members of the QSI community the opportunity to assist us in tracking down the person or people involved in the perpetration of the fake AUDC token. I sincerely hope this opportunity is taken up.

I would like to thank everybody involved for their assistance in this matter, and offer my sympathy to to anyone who has fallen victim to the brazen actions of such a terrible person (or people).
