TLDR: Not playing amateur and focusing on soloq.

I suck at writing but I want to say that I will not be competing in amateur anymore indefinitely.

I had a lot of lows during my time in amateur. I underperformed many times and did not live up the expectations that many people had. I tried working hard every day from coaches or players that were better than me, but at the end, none of it worked. I felt like I did not improve at all and was just constantly behind other people, despite getting helped by the people around me.

I originally wanted to keep on competing but school hours affected my schedule heavily and family issues as well. I don't want to join a team knowing that my schedule is negatively affecting other players' performance (lack of scrims), so I just came to the conclusion to not play competitively anymore. Because of this, I will be focusing on soloq and focus on getting high ranks.

Finally, I want to thank all of my teammates who I have competed with for being extremely kind to me even though I was not performing well. I want to thank my coaches who spent a lot of time helping me to become better. I love you all and I hope to continue to see your guys' success in going pro.

I'm also going to try my best to avoid flaming and be a better person overall in soloq because in the past, I was extremely toxic to the players that I didn't like. I want to apologize to the players that I was being rude to in soloq.
