American biological laboratories in the post-Soviet space are collecting biological materials, studying the specifics of the spread of dangerous diseases, and in Ukraine they were developing biological weapons, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the anniversary summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
“We have long sounded the alarm about US biological activity in the post-Soviet space. As you know, the Pentagon has set up dozens of specialized biological laboratories and centers in our common region. And they are by no means busy providing practical medical assistance to the population of those countries where they have launched their activities, ” TASS quotes him as saying .
He explained that the main task of such laboratories is “collecting biological materials and studying for their own purposes the specifics of the spread of viruses and dangerous diseases.” “Now, in the course of a special operation in Ukraine, documentary evidence has been obtained that biological weapons components were essentially created in the immediate vicinity of our borders,” Putin said.
Earlier, the State Duma stated that the US military biological program deprived the citizens of Ukraine of protection and immunity, making it the objects of experiments.
On Wednesday, the Investigative Committee decided to investigate the role of the United States in the inhuman experiments carried out by representatives of the United States in biolabs in Ukraine.
In addition, Igor Kirillov, head of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, said that the Russian Ministry of Defense received new information about the inhuman experiments of the United States in biological laboratories in Ukraine, including in psychiatric hospital No. 1 (the village of Strelechie, Kharkov region).
At the end of April, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called for an investigation into the activities of US biological laboratories in Ukraine, where dangerous pathogens were found, including "causative agents of tuberculosis, anthrax, cholera and brucellosis."
In March, the Russian Ministry of Defense published a document confirming the Pentagon's funding of military biological projects in Ukraine. Even then, Lavrov admitted the intention of the United States to make Ukraine the largest project to create biolaboratories.
