Information Regarding the Next Update
Hey everyone!! To start I’d like to apologize for the lack of updates regarding the lack of progress updates of this mod. We know a lot of people are looking forward to the future of this au, and we’re really thankful for the support!! The team has been working steadily to complete the new content, however, a lot has happened since the initial release which I’ll try to touch up on
If you didn’t know, the next update is gonna be titled “The Glow-up Update” - which like the name entails, is gonna be an update mostly dedicated to remastering and improving a lot of assets and further developing the weeks that are currently out in soft
This includes but is not limited to:
- Awesome new original music replacements for ALL the base game songs (WOOOO MUSIC)
- Remastered sprite sheets (heck yeah)
- New and improved dialogue
- Exclusive bonus content (side stories, more original songs, etc)
- And more!!
Unfortunately senpai week will not be included in the next update - Tama decided to split it off into two parts for various reasons, and I think it’s for the best as well. Hopefully his week shouldn’t take too long to come out after the glow up update, we know a lot of you have been looking forward to seeing him ^^
Now more on the unfortunate news side - a few members have decided to leave the team (whom we will not name), and one of them asked to have ALL their work removed from the mod. This includes all the dialogue portraits, icons, and other art related assets. We’re really sorry for this, we know that the dialogue portraits and icons are really iconic, but @lattebuns is gonna be the one making the new ones, so hopefully ya’ll will adjust to the change comfortably
The good news is that the music and charting for the update (even senpai week) are practically 100% done (I played a major hand in this hehe - DatDavi)!! We’re ALMOSTT there, but please be patient while the rest of the team makes the final push needed
There is no release date yet as of now, it most likely won’t come out until we’re 100% confident that it’s ready. But in the meantime, we may post small lil’ previews of certain aspects of the mod, and two of the new songs have already been released a few months ago (High Spirits, Faithful)!!
Thank you so much for taking your time to read through this!! I’m trying my best to keep the project afloat and release something that everyone involved can be proud of. I know that a large portion of the fnf community loves the soft au and I hope that we’ll be able to give back to everyone’s hopes and expectations!!
