100T and future
First things first, thanks to the 100T players and org for the opportunity to trial with them. I obviously played with Asuna before but Ethan and Hiko also made this a great experience. You guys (and Bang obvi) made me feel like I was a part of the team the second I got there. And big thanks to the 100T fans for being supportive of me the last few weeks. Really appreciate all of you who reached out and cheered me on while I was here. I hope your passion and support gets rewarded with wins.
I have a lot of respect for Nade and the changes he’s making to support the team. The guy is passionate about bringing titles to 100T and will do whatever he needs to for that to happen. The new staff he brought in will be a gamechanger there and wish them the best.
All of that said, I’m still frustrated with how this turned out for me. Was told by someone with 100T that plan was to sign me after VCT. Was told post-VCT that everything we were doing was for the long-term. Was even asked if I'd be willing to try being main IGL(which im fully fine with). They kept reiterating how much they liked me and how flexible I was. Been a part of some unlucky situations over the last year so I would never be that naïve to think my spot was safe with 100T given it was just a trial. But ngl I was really excited when they brought Sean and DDK in because I think all players who want to win and be competitive like to see an org doing what it takes to support them toward that goal. I really wanted to be a part of that.
So, learning today that I wasn’t in their plans still caught me off guard. I know the full direction of the team wasn’t decided on but I really got the vibe they wanted me for the future up until I was told otherwise earlier. No one there individually did me wrong. I think the plan probably kept changing and no one really knew what was happening. Just unlucky I guess.
Just flew to CA yday to visit family bc we were supposed to be on break til the 4th, but changing plans and flying back to TX immediately tmr so I can trial if any teams will have me. I really want to be a part of a great team heading into the next VCT qualifying run and am willing to do anything to make that happen. Self sufficient and can play pretty much anything at this point. Always willing to be flexible to support the team.
