Info about the ban

Hi, it's Kasmir and I used to go by Yeti. I'm writing this to speak my piece
about the ban that was announced by Advantage State tweeted here:

https://twitter.com/AdvantageState/status/1502767364546469893?t=TbOIPslBhUOXU1WvwEQE7Q&s=19

Mentioned in the tweet was the reasoning for the ban being: several cases
of harassment. I wanted to speak about the topics of the tweet. The tweet was
very vague and gives no information about anything.

No doubt the most influential factor in this ban would be my altercation with a trans player at a tournament in November. They have asked not to be named in this section. They sat down to play friendlies with Loaf and I before the bracket started and we all started talking. Somewhere along the conversation, they referred to me as Yeti. I expressed that I didn't want to be called that anymore, that that was my old tag. They then called me it again, in a joking way, but I took it in more of a serious way. It frustrated me at the time, and so I asked them how they would like it if I called them by their old name, and deadnamed them. I repeated their old name to cement the fact that I'm sure they wouldn't like to be called that. Obviously, this struck a chord and was an overstep of boundaries. Both situations were similar, but their real identity definitely
held more weight than simply an old tag of mine. A mistake on my part, one which
lead to them leaving the venue. I proceeded to get a message from Ddisciple the
following day asking about what happened. I told him about it, and he said I
needed to squash my beef, and I agreed. I actually had meant to text them that
same night after realizing they had left, but the tournament ended around 12AM,
so I just went straight to bed. I then messaged them, and after apologizing for
the namedrop, they forgave me and emphasized the importance of their name to me.

The day of that conversation was November 21st, 2021. Since then, that person and I have
hung out several times and are on good terms. I've been friends with this person for something close to 5 years now, and I never once considered them to be my enemy, or wished ill for them. I do care about them a lot. I'll always be sorry for referring to them by their old identity in that way. Which is why it felt only necessary and correct to fix my mistake after that tournament.

I was told one of the reasons for the ban was a conversation that Savanah (Razz) and I had
in the Advantage State facebook group chat. This conversation was realtively brief, and was seen by all members of the group chat, so it's really not a secret.

This was considered to be one of the points for the ban. Really, I was upset that Razz would say something along the lines of she does all the work, when that's really not close to being true. Saying things like that rubs me the wrong way, as though she were discrediting the work we all actively were putting in. Anyways, I had been wanting to leave AS, so I thought I would let her know how I felt about her before leaving. I question the judgement of the TO's putting forth
this ban if this conversation is means for a ban. What was said in this conversation is hardly noteworthy to anyone in my opinion.

This is all that I personally know was discussed by the TO's that decided on this ban. If MN smash dictates that these are ban-worthy, then there isn't anything I can or even want to do to change that. I just wanted to clear some things up since the AS tweet says they're not answering questions
