French version:

TLDR

1/ j'ai refusé des grosses opportunités pour rester avec une grosse base de joueurs qu'on avait pendant les up&down
2/ ils sont partis
3/ j'ai re build
4/ d'autres sont re partis en last minute
5/ mon assistant a une très grosse opportunité
6/ burnout

English version:

TLDR:

1/ i've declined big opportunities to build around the base of players we had at up&downs
2/ they left
3/ i've re builded
4/ then others left again last-minute
5/ my assistant has big opportunity
6/ burnout

To the great regret to announce that I will not be the headcoach of Team Oplon this year in LFL

It was a very good year with the players and the staff, we managed to build something really cool and have our own identity through our game throughout the year.
After having flying over the up & downs, my goal was to keep 4 players from the team that we had at the time to move up to the LFL and do a good storytelling through this beautiful base.
After the up & downs (September 30th) I knew that this offseason would be really hard and so I decided to not take a break for myself in order to start directly in pursuit of the position we were missing.
Then, I had several verbal agreements with the 4 players following that but by dint of having very promising tryouts which went wonderfully with the only position that we decided to change,
many opposing structures having themselves tryouts or future tryouts were closely interested in two popular players here.
Little by little the tryouts followed one another and the offers were raining down for these two players, it was very hard to keep them within the Oplon project and I did not have the impression
that they understood the importance of verbal agreement so I didn't want to block them because of that, it's against my nature to force players' hands.
So I lost more than a month trying out a single post while being sure to have 4 players involved, so I had to start from 0 from November.

Following that, I was mainly interested in profiles that would not necessarily be in the sights of the big teams.
The tryouts followed one another, little by little I got pretty good leads and Oplon not being the sexiest project in the LFL I had to sell the skills of our staff
during the tryouts, which had a double-edged impact in that the better these players were made in the short term, the better they would perform in the other tryouts.
Then the transfer window continued, we found a solid base almost lock ready to work on the search for the last two positions and there surprise,
I learn that a pillar player in my tryouts receives a very attractive offer and instantly engages with it.
I must therefore start again from 0 because it was linked to all the players during this ten days.

Obviously doubts set in, I had no fear of being able to come to LFL with an underdog roster and make them perform at a higher level but the problem was
that after more than two months of tryouts, I have not managed to completely lock a solid base to be able to move forward, the perpetual feeling of having to start all over again.
The more we advanced in the dates, the more the players the players were overbooked with other tryouts with very limited availability.
I really needed to know the value of each player in the tryouts and to be able to see with my own eyes full of aspects like mind, attitude etc, something I could not have known.
if I blindly sign someone just by name.

I have long lived this feeling of always seeing my players go to a more attractive offer at the last minute, as a player in the past I often decline LEC offers when we performed
with Nisqy to be able to make the dream of `` staying together and going up in LEC via the challenger series '' but it never could be done because we had to change one or two players every month
after winning a major tournament.
There it is the same I refused very large offers at the start of the transfer window to be able to remain loyal and continue the project that I had already undertaken in up & down.
Esport is a world of opportunists and I do not blame the players I have been able to work with this year for accepting tempting offers, it is completely understandable.
The player is king just as the customer is king.

In addition, my crack assistant coach @Nalkyalol recently received an opportunity that cannot be refused given everything that happened during this Mercato I could not see myself telling him
to stay with me in such a mess.
I'm super happy that via a simple assistant search request on Twitter + exercise that followed, this nugget with 10 subscribers on twitter appeared and solowin the given exercise
I would never thank him enough for the enormous shadow job he has done this year with the team, he undoubtedly has a bright future going to LEC.

I would have really liked to be able to mark a Shonen page within the LFL and prove that the title of underdog does not scare me but this is beyond my strength, this transfer window
got me completely burnout i am totally empty.

I still thank Oplon for having trusted me throughout this year in Division 2, I feel dirty to give up the ship this way but I cannot commit to a project in which I no longer believe without my shocking duo.
For me the most important thing is to be satisfied with the team you have built and to have a good atmosphere in order to be able to work with but the turn of events made me think that I was going to have to recruit reluctantly. the opposite of my ideas and therefore I will not be able to fulfill my job with the quota of passion that I had this year..

Regarding my future, for the moment I need a break and get away from this Offseason as quickly as possible and then check my possibilities later.
