Quick aside about the Regi thing:

Since jumping in front of a bus is cool now and people want opinions from me to Ja Rule:

About the Regi stuff; I’ve known him for a decade personally and professionally, I’d say aside from a few instances (that 8 year old dyrus keyboard vid), I’d say he mostly just wanted to win more than anyone and merely blurred the lines between business/personal which is why sometimes you got to see those team arguments (which if you had a camera in any other team room meeting, it’d be something similar, ie see clg/crs/liquid).

I eventually learned to never take these things personally or it’d affect my game/life/whatever. Most owners bashed on the reddit (‘those’ team owners) are actually all great people on a personal level, they’ve all been friendly to me and Jack even got us a turkey/stuffing/whatever for thanksgiving in 2012, but I’ve heard all of them are basically sharks if you try to negotiate with them on a business level and that's fine, it’s how that game is played. Regi sometimes mixes personal with business (some of our team arguments) but I’d never say he was anything but respectful and wanting to win and knew when he was over the line (the ‘mcdonalds comment’ which I disliked but he did apologize for).

Many early esport teams have come and gone due to their awful treatment of players/salaries but Regi made every effort to avoid being like those teams and tried to accommodate us best he can and while we’ve had our disagreements, I’d still say we’re friends and I understand his viewpoints/arguments mostly came across as trying to win.

PS:
Also as a side note in some of these reddit threads, I personally don’t like to remember a person by their worst moments, constantly bringing up a bout of mental breakdown/whatever is lame as hell, I’d never want to be remembered by my worst moment constantly and while it is interesting to discuss, I’m hoping it’s not brought up every time those players are mentioned despite their other accomplishments.
