Why I Ended Times & Tribulations and My Relationship with CeramicSkinStudios
Hey everyone, I think it's time I actually got down to business as to why I cancelled the mod. The short version is that a certain quote retweet on a bad take of ceramic's made me open up my eyes to just how horrific his situation was. My whole friendship with ceramic started back when I first heard about Brightside and made my initial video on the matter. I thought it was a pretty neat mod and it is the reason I was able to get into the modding community at all. However, this isn't about that so I'll stop dancing around the subject.
After I found out about ceramic's cancellation, I was already pretty close friends with him, so I used it as an excuse to stop thinking about the victim and attempt to defend the accused for no other reason than blind faith that they will change. This was a belief I held for the better part of 5 months, which, up until the moment I cut the tie, had been disproven time and time again.
Throughout the development of Omega, there were times i nearly turned on ceramic due to the sheer amount of frustration caused by the project, and after having him overwork me and my friends made by the project to the point of nearly mentally breaking, I took charge of Times & Tribulations project as the leader and owner.
As the months passed after the release of omega, I became more and more distant to the whole ceramic drama, becoming closer with people like Hooda and bepixel. One day once I found the post about ceramic getting angry at clowfoe for using the n-word, hooda brought the quote tweet to my attention. after reading it, it brought the light to my eyes on just how shitty of a person ceramic was.

After talking with the team about the tweet itself, the vast majority of us came to the conclusion that we just can't work with ceramic anymore. Not with the knowledge of him being a groomer, a manipulator, a liar, and an overall scumbag with no desire to change other than to mend his damaged public image. Not to make amends with the people he has hurt or develop for himself. Just to make himself as a creator more presentable and appealing. To that, I say "Fuck you" and I won't let you use my mod for your own success. That's why Times & Tribulations is, and forever will be, cancelled. I apologize to those of you who enjoyed the mod and I do appreciate the support. The friends I made from this mod are truly unforgettable, however Ceramic is one thing I will never let back into my life. Not now, not ever again. Goodbye, you piece of shit.
