The end of an era...
Ssteve is retiring from professional Rocket League.
This is an extraordinarily conflicting time for me. I feel intense grief juxtaposed by a complexing sparkle of gratitude. I've been through so much with this delightful Peruvian,
from the unspeakable Esper incident to making top 8 after so long through hours and hours of hard work and dedication. We've been through times of both grueling hardship and remarkable triumph, experiencing both deep loss and delicious victory. He always seemed to persevere with that steady, unwavering sense of purpose and commitment which one can't help but admire. I can sit here whinging and whining about all the hard times but instead I feel it appropriate to celebrate the remarkable journey we've been on; and to express my sincerest gratitude to Ssteve for not only putting up with the most enormously pretentious teammate, but for allowing me to share this incredible journey about cars hitting a stupid soccer ball with someone I truly consider a friend.
Thank you Ssteve from the bottom of my heart and may you find clarity in what comes next!!!
