DOTA PIT INVITATIONAL UPDATE
Hi Everyone,
The intermittent crashes that we have experienced this week are directly related to and the responsibility of our ISP. Unfortunately, our ISP started work on a series of major network upgrades without giving us prior notification of the works. Obviously, if we had been warned about this we could have taken steps to ensure that it would not affect the tournament. It's truly frustrating that we experienced these crashes and as a result have contacted the senior management at the ISP to discuss and put together a plan to prevent this kind of interruption from happening in the future.
Nevertheless, we are still proud that as an organization, we have broadcasted over 600+ hours of content in the past 365 days, without experiencing any internet downtime and that the recent outages are not the norm. We will do everything to ensure that this does not happen again.
Any kind of problem that affects the enjoyment and experience of our viewers is a massive issue and a real disappointment to us, and for that, we can only apologize to you all.
