The Future (:

I just want to start off by saying I am not normally one to make my personal business public. This is new for me but I felt it was necessary to let people know. I’m not going to make this a long drawn out thing, just gonna keep this short and to the point.

January 1st there will be an announcement of something huge happening in my life which will allow me to stay in esports and live out my dream. When an opportunity like this presents itself, it’s hard to pass it up. I’ve been competing for a long while now and frequently coming up short of my goal and or the teams goals by 1 to 2 series. This has made me really weigh out my options and understand that maybe it’s time for a change in priorities. Therefore, I will be taking a break from competitive Rocket League and focusing on this new thing in the background. I’d like to make it very clear that I would still enjoy competing, but it will not be my main priority, so you’ll probably see me on a few pick up teams here and there.

The fact of the matter is, I’m about to be 22 and live with my girlfriend of 5 years soon to be 6. I’m a part time college student and have a part time job with the hours I want. The Rocket League bubble scene is looking less and less promising financially. (This is just my personal opinion). Which is another reason why I’m deciding to go with this new opportunity. The last reason is I’ve just got bills to pay lol. When it comes down to it, this position I’m taking will much better fit my lifestyle than putting in 50-60 hours a week competing and still coming up short.

Lastly, I wanted to thank @Rise_ESC for everything you’ve done for me over the last few years. We have a bright future ahead of ourselves. If you have read this far thank you, I appreciate you. This is not goodbye, this is to new beginnings.

Thank you,
Dahma
