Thursday Sermonette: Boycott GE15!

Forget the chicken and the egg. Which came first, the prostitute or the politician?

If you read the story of Adam and Eve, you’ll realise the world’s first politician was the Serpent. Because: 1) he made a false promise to Eve,
2) didn’t fulfill it,
3) made the rakyat suffer instead, and
4) tried to worm his way out when caught!

So yes, politicians definitely came first. My wife who got roundly criticised recently for defending a group of retrenched stewardesses working in massage spas, jolted me with a pearl of wisdom. She said up to the 20th century, prostitutes spread diseases. In the 21st century, it’s the politicians who spread diseases!

If you’re politician or an Umno /PKR /DAP /Amanah /Warisan /whatever-member and offended by this statement, wait, let me make it worse!

Politicians also possess lower morals than pimps. And I’ll explain why.

You see, elections are supposed to give a certain group of people the mandate to govern. Unfortunately, the people who represent the people are no longer representing their people. They’re not representing any party. They’re not even representing themselves.

They’re representing money!

Yes that’s what it has come to. So today, no one knows who’s on whose side anymore. You see, an Umno member can be in BN. Another Umno member can be in PN. And another Umno member can be in PH.

Yes, that’s what it has come to now – going by the strange logic of DAZH when he revealed he “cannot control his own MPs”. (Read: I’m no longer captain of my sinking ship). As for DSN, the lesser said the better lah. Grinning in front of people screaming “Malu Apa Bossku” (or BUSSKU like in Sabah) while mocking the Malaysian Judiciary is bloody embarrassing for this “Tak Tahu Malu” Bussku.

So if you participate in the election and vote, you won’t know what will be the result of that vote anymore. Because an Umno guy can suddenly break ranks with PN, join forces with PAS, Amanah and PKR, and then try to overthrow the govt just so that Zahid’s credit card bill is forgotten!

While screaming “FITNAH!” or “POLITICALLY-MOTIVATED!” whenever their blue-eyed boys get hauled up by the MACC, dragged to court and sentenced by a judge!

Then while parking themselves under the “Muafakat” banner under some pretentious “bangsa dan agama” agenda, they can again switch back to PH, join Mahathir – or even opt to leave and rejoin a weird, “PN +Plus” (insert whatever number) coalition to swing the majority the other way.

Those days it used to be simple. If you played for Liverpool, you effing play FOR Liverpool. You cannot have 3 players in the Liverpool team crossing over the Merseyside, playing for Man Utd and then screaming “Bangsa dan Agama, YNWA”. Or worse, stay in Liverpool, collect money as a EPL player, and then try to play in La Liga even though “your heart is still Liverpool”.

No, no no! That’s not football. That’s called dick-principle. Not politik but politaik. Prinsip pelir!

But that’s what its come to now, isn’t it? We don’t know which side our elected reps belong to anymore. Heck, even if we do away with the party system and elect Independents, we STILL don’t know where their allegiances lie. Because there aren’t any. It all depends on which guy offers more money to cross over. Or which Ministerial portfolio or GLC position is promised to him.

Fellas, do you realise that we had the Best government in the history of our country from Feb 2020 to March 2020? Serious. The bloody government was so efficient that time that I renewed my passport in 5 mins, my Driving Licence in 7 mins and cleared my taxes in 10 mins.

Know why the government was THAT efficient between February and March 2020? Because we had NO government! Mahathir had resigned and his idiots were in limbo, donning songkoks and rushing back and forth from the Palace to Seri Perdana back and forth, back and forth.

Like in those Road Runner cartoons!

Yet the government got better. All it took, was a bunch of civil servants to keep the bureaucracy going. And smack in the middle of the MCO too!

Friends, the Sabah fiasco is just another example of how bloody pointless elections are. They are:
1) a stupid way to waste money,
2) a stupid way to waste time, and
3) a stupid way to spread disease. And besides, even if one side wins, it will be by the slimmest of majorities. Until the next bunch of frogs hope over, claim to topple the winners and the circus repeats itself. Before long, the whole Malaysia will end up like Sabah, unsure who’s the Prime Minister and hanging in a limbo, swimming in the same muck of uncertainty.

So friends, there you go. We Don't need Ministers, cabinets and clowns pretending to command majorities. Cukup lah. No need Atoks, Abahs, Abangs, Cik Nons, nenek kebayans and so on.

I suggest we hand the country back to the Yang Dipertuan Agong as caretaker Head, and wait until laws are enacted to force our politicians to be principled. Until then, boycott the Elections.

Otherwise, I suggest we take those from the world’s oldest profession to fill the cabinet. They are after all, people with far better principles. And morals. 🀦🏽‍β™‚οΈπŸŒ·πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ
