Quitting Twitch
For the last two months I have been dealing with a cybercriminal and pedophile that is destroying my life. I am a single mom, and a whisteblower on a man named Matthew Brockett with twitter.com/inception_org (RaidensReign on Twitch). He was using his org to lure kids into a Discord server where he was being sexually inappropriate with them, sharing pornographic websites and images, and possibly grooming them for exploitation. Somehow he was tipped off that I had filed a police report, and ever since then he has harassed me daily, threatened me, stalked me and maliciously given my full name and address to darkweb criminals. He has hacked my computer to throttle my internet, making it impossible for me to stream. Every time I stream I lag and he places thousands of bots in my channel and uses them to spam abusive and hateful messages in my chat. I have live stream clips of him saying he "hasn't even retaliated yet" and "if she doesn't end this, they're going to have to put me in jail". He discovered I am going on a trip to the Northeast this week and messaged a friend that he can't wait to "come visit me" while I am there.
Two days ago, I was streaming on Twitch while my daughter napped. Unexpectedly, she ran into the room with no clothes on (she did have panties on, but it happened very fast and that may not have been obvious to the viewers). I ended my stream and deleted the VOD to be safe. I then noticed that a user named ShadowDanyellle, who is affiliated with Inception, had clipped the incident. I deleted the clip on the same day it was made. Yesterday, Mr. Brockett claimed to have saved a video of my "naked child" on his computer and told me he was reporting it to Twitch for a TOS violation. The idea that a known pedophile has a saved image of my unclothed 3 year old daughter makes my stomach turn with disgust. I reported both RaidensReign and ShadowDanyellle to Twitch.
Alongside Twitch and Discord, the police, FBI, and all the children organizations have moved very slowly with this. Twitch and Discord, where the exploitation is occurring, continue to turn a blind eye to the rampant sexual harassment, stalking, and exploitation that occurs to many streamers on their platforms. I have no words to describe how helpless this feels. In 2020, a man in a different state can ruin your entire life over the internet, and no one can stop him.
I am stepping down from Twitch until they decide to take action on the literal hundreds of reports that have been made against this perverted lunatic. I will no longer make money for a company that allows this kind of abuse and harassment to go without consequence for so long. Honestly, I haven't been able to monetize my stream since the abuse began. The bots and spam have made my stream hard to sit through, not to mention the constant fear of being doxed. Thank you to my community for standing behind me throughout this entire ordeal. Hopefully I will be able to return to the platform once someone steps in to prevent this man from threatening my family any further. I love y'all.
