to a new beginning (serious discussion thread)

I think my biggest error in ignoring hate was that I split hate up into two sub categories, one being surface level hate which is the basic disliking of me, which is completely normal for every streamer, & that's the hate I have no problem ignoring & have done so since being heavily bullied (psychologically) since middle school.

The second sub category is the category that hits home the deepest with me, because it is the very hate that i & many others experienced from middle school and up, and it is also the same hate that made most of us escape the real world to the gaming world, and now that hate has seeped into this world and that includes false narratives, nasty rumors, character assassinations from slander, manipulation of intentions from reputation that stems from all of the above. This hate is the hate I've always felt like I had to combat, it is the very thing that ignoring does not help, and i've always wanted to tackle it head on. It is no different than the high school hate that led all of us to the dark shadows of our rooms or crying with that deep sharp breaking pain in our chests and having to turn the sink on so our parents don't hear our depressing cries for help.

The very psychology behind this type of hate is baffling to me, because it can be defeated in one single day, but instead people take on either 1 of 2 routes in avoiding this battle, 1, either they don't think it will never happen to them, or 2 they don't want to get involved because they don't want it to happen to them. But in reality, what most people don't understand is that while it may be true that there are 45,000 neutral or positive comments to every 5000 negative ones, it is the 5000 negative that will comment on each of the 45,000 positive so that the person has to see it, but in reality if we found a way to have the 45,000 positive just give one single "fuck you" and nothing more to each of the 5000 negative, i believe, eventually, this normalized high school rumor starting would be quelled in almost no time.

My question that i hope leads to a discussion so I can better understand, what is normal, is; is it a mistake to differentiate the two? Is the second just as common as the first, is it just as inevitable? If so, then i need to train myself to ignore that as well (and by ignore i mean ignore with the occasional fuck you here and there).

Thanks for your time, all love to all of you
