Long overdue...
Ok, so I have sat silent long enough while watching someone hurt people I care about who are too scared to come forward. So to be clear, I am not the victim here but I am standing in the line for them. A few months ago I was offered a job to work for an Esports company, during the phone interview I was told that as part of being hired I would have to sign a contract saying that I would not sue such company for any sexual relations that happened during my employment with this organization. Obviously I declined, and moved on. During this time of these brave individuals coming out it was brought to my attention that some dear friends were hired by this company, signed this contract and were put in horrible situations where they were obligated or felt compelled to do things they never wanted to do, they have never spoken up bc of this contract and were threatened to stay silent. As someone who was never enemies with Shane, after hearing of what happened to some of these women, my heart breaks and I have to say something. Shane’s poor attempt at a PR stunt blaming it all on alcohol and not taking full responsibility to his actions I need to speak up and I am so sorry to those victims that I never said something sooner. I don’t have a copy of the contract but I do have a copy of a contract that was sent to an employee of Omen, as you will see below, this is not an “oops I was drunk” kind of contract.
