Olli Juolevi healthy and ready for Canucks training camp.

The Canucks training camp in early July will be a good chance for defenseman Olli Juolevi to reacquaint himself with the Canucks and the Vancouver fan base.

The 5th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft is still trying to gain traction with the Canucks, injuries limited Juolevi to just 45 games in Utica this season.

His agent Markus Lehto tells me that Juolevi is 100% healthy and looking forward to the Canucks camp, “Olli looks good on the ice, he has been training hard, 4-5 times a week with a strength and conditioning coach, he has matured on and off the ice.”

Juolev has been working out with other NHL players including Montreal forward Jesperi Kotkaniemi.

Lehto thinks most of his Finnish NHL players including Juolevi could depart for North America as early as this week.
