Departure from Chiefs CSGO (Retirement)

I've been playing csgo for 16 years casually, 7 years competitively. It's always been a big part of my day to day life and I always tried to maintain a healthy balance between playing competitively and focusing on other aspects surrounding my life.

On and off for the past year and primarily the past few weeks, I got to the point of consistent burn out and struggled to manage the balance my life need . This has resulted in me deciding to step down from the current Chiefs CS team. I've ultimately decided that I'd be best to hang up the mouse competitively to focus on my personal health (those who have played with alongside me and/or know me personally are aware of my consistent problems...) and to find the balance between my med studies and other life commitments.

I've been fortunate to have many experiences during my time in competitive cs from contesting teams in the Top 4 of AUS, competing at LAN events in NZ, Malaysia and China, to meeting some of the best and most amazing people in this community.

There are so many people I'd like to thank for my making my journey memorable... a few I will shout out to are my former teammates, Jordan (SkulL), Tom (apocdud), Hugh (HUGHMUNGUS) and Daryl (Mayker).
We remained as this 5 man roster for 1 year 5 months, we always pushed each other to the limits, kept enduring and had lots of amazing results and moments together. I'm proud to end my journey with this specific team.

To Jordan and Tom specifically... we've all been swapping in and out of the same team for 3-5 years now and you guys will forever be my favourite teammates and best mates within the cs community.

To Chiefs Management... You guys have provided me with the opportunity of playing under one of the best orgs in Australia. Your constant determination and motivation to be the best is inspiring to me and I hope you guys keep pushing yourselves.

Even though I'm retiring, I will still be playing some of the remaining ESEA MDL games until Chiefs can field the new roster.
