Disciplinary action regarding NSG
Hello,
During todays stream of the semi-finals between ABV v STR, there was an incident that requires immediate attention. There were several targeted comments of transphobic nature and this is not something we approve of in the slightest. We have looked into the matter, documented the incident and reached the following conclusion:
Section §6.2.4 of the SQ1 Rulebook states
“Team Members may not offend the dignity or integrity of a country, private person or group of people through contemptuous, discriminatory or denigrating words or actions on account of race, skin color, ethnic, national or social origin, gender, language, religion, political opinion or any other opinion, financial status, birth or any other status, sexual orientation or any other reason.”
As of immediately, NSG players Vayne God and UnknownSwede have been permanently banned from SQ1.
Furthermore, as Vayne God is the owner of NSGs spot in SQ1, NSG will be DQ’ed from the Spring Split and their participation in the 3rd/4th place decider will be forfeit. This type of behaviour is not acceptable from anyone, especially a team captain.
We would like to underline that there is valid no reason anyone should be the target of this type of harassment or insults. We will not accept nor allow it, under any circumstance.
