closed minor qual middle east region situation
Situation.. in the MEna qual closed ESL ONE RIO, esl just made this qual impossible for the israeli,jordan,lebanon . teams
first match in the closed qual we lost to camel raiders which won us because of the ping .basically.. cuz its 1 map dubai , second map eu, third map the admin littearly takes a coin and flips it and decides who starts their first half with their better ping. so we started playing on dubai and everything felt unplayable. and got us demotivated about the qualifier. playing as 5players that each one of them spends alot of time and has spent in order to win those kind of stuff. just for this "money time" to win those games and make our dream come true., ,i think you could ask every comp player in every game. that winning something that was a long road for him or achieving what he wanted. those kind of stuff have the best kind of feeling . just because it paid off.and then losing not because they were better then you. only because you got alimit while playing with so many disadvantages sucks. if those games were with equal terms for those teams and we would still lose this game then i would've downloaded the demo, said 0 words about the situation wished gl to the enemies and got over with it.
tho we only lost cuz of the unfair situation.
so Aequus (us) came from the lower bracket after losing because of that coinflip in the third map and we started talking with the admin on how unfair the situation is , so we tried to find a solution with those servers to try to have as much as equal ping as each other, and we found it that turkey has 30ms gap between each other (130 ping ) vs (160 ping) instead of ( 5 ping ) vs (200)
and i'm not gonna try to blame those teams from dubai, its just unfair . and esl wouldn't provide any help and just the good teams lose on the disadvantage they have.___
so we kept playing until the finals, there we found ex-nasr that we won 2-1 then finest on eu servers that we won aswell and then yalla that we won , and because we got into the finals from lower bracket we had 0-1 advantage
which the most fair thing to do is go 1eu server 1dubai 1eu 1 HALF /turkey servers which give a playable ping for both teams.
and then we start the finals with a tie 1-1 in the maps after winning the eu server losing another map and winning another one which puts us in the 4th match of the bo5 and the decider because 2-2
and then admin is honestly telling us "nah dubai is fair no changing server for you unless other team agrees" and ofc again they won't .
so we decided to ff this match, i'm really sorry but i think you will eventually understand me. i wanted to qualify and did my best , but there is a limit that you can't pass.
i would be happy if anyone who saw that would just retweet and maybe the next minor will be fixed and fair!
