Kyoto12 taking my controller
So around early June, I played him in SFC redemption, game one he like 3 stocked me but I won game 3 with a hard read down throw down B fsmash and popped off, this was like semis, I was pretty sure I left my controller next to the set up after it, anyways I wait like 15 minutes for my next set and when I go to play it my controller can’t be found anywhere, it’s late in the evening so there are only like 10 people in the room and most of them are playing on the other side of the room, it was an old silver, I noticed him with a silver controller and knew that he hadn’t brought one that day since he had been borrowing other peoples but he says someone let him borrow that one and so I never find the controller, also when I post about it in Facebook he’s the only person to respond, anyways, I’m not at SFC for like 3 weeks and then when I do come back I see him walking in holding a silver controller, I tell Remo and Krebs “hey I’m pretty sure that’s my controller I can prove it, mine has a scuff mark on the back in this certain spot” so Krebs asks if he can see the controller and sure enough it has the same exact scuff mark I in the same exact spot, but Kyoto has some long story about how he bought it 3 weeks ago, supposedly on the same week that mine went missing and with a game cube in a bundle from a pawn shop, he names the pawn shop and claims to have receipts which I ask for but he never shows me, and basically says “I guess someone else took your controller sold it to the pawn shop and I bought it” which is just crazy and makes no sense, anyways we talk out side for a while and It’s basically just my word vs his, but I know it’s my controller it’s identical, but I say if he sends me the receipts he has I’ll drop it, he never does but I drop it anyways just cuz it doesn’t look good looking from the out side in to have me just accusing this dude of theft, he’s been super suspect in other cases of missing things and now he’s been caught on camera stealing but he still maintains innocence so I never got it back.
TL:DR TLDR controller went missing in a room with 10 people right after a set with him, he turns up a few weeks later with an identical controller down to a scuff mark on the back, but there’s no hard proof so it’s my word vs his
